SET INCLUDES ALL 4 PLATES These plates were hand thrown on the pottery wheel by Kirsten using speckled brown stoneware clay. in the greenware stage, all of the plates were carefully free hand painted with black velvet underglaze. The verse found in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, “Love is patient, love is kind, love never fails….” makes for the perfect accent verse for these elegant plates. The center of the plate had 3 layers of a clear food safe glaze brushed over it & then 3 layers of white glaze were hand brushed around the edges for the perfect minimalist look. The bottoms were sanded to help prevent surface scratches. Dishwasher & microwave safe. Hand wash preferred.
